About Us
Habitat for Humanity-Coosa Valley seeks to reflect God's love by helping partner families achieve safe, decent and affordable housing, while providing opportunities for community partners to use their God-given gifts.
Our Service
Habitat for Humanity-Coosa Valley has been helping families in our community since 1984. We have helped over 150 families by building and rehabbing houses. Qualifying families purchase a safe, decent, affordable home through a zero-interest loan extended by Habitat. Families must also contribute 250 - 300 hours of "sweat equity," working on their home and helping Habitat in other ways. In this way, Habitat is "a hand up, not a handout."
Donating
Help Habitat for Humanity by sending a gift to continue our mission. Your gift can be sent in honor or memory of a loved one. You can mail or bring your donation to our office located at 504 E First Ave, Rome, GA 30161, 9 - 4:30pm, Tue - Fri or 9 - 1:30pm Saturday.
